Senior UX Designer
(AE 25/006)

At Gravitas, we’re looking for a Senior UX Designer who’s passionate about solving real problems, crafting amazing user experiences, and leading by example. You’ll be hands-on, strategic, and a natural mentor, someone who’s just as comfortable designing flows as they are running workshops and steering client conversations.

Lead by Doing: You don’t just direct; you roll up your sleeves and design. You’ll lead design thinking sessions, sketch out ideas, prototype, and make things happen.
End-to-End Design: From messy whiteboards to polished handoffs — you’ll own the whole UX process across complex websites, apps, and digital services.
Think Holistic: You’ll connect the dots through customer journeys, service blueprints, ecosystem maps, and design systems. You know how to zoom in and out when needed.
Champion the User: You’ll bring in user research, data, and testing to make sure we’re solving the right problems, in the right way.
Facilitate & Guide: Whether it’s a workshop, design sprint, or stakeholder review, you’ll keep everyone aligned and engaged.
Mentor & Grow Others: You’ll be a go-to person for junior and mid-weight designers, offering feedback, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate Like a Pro: You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, content folks, and analysts — no silos here.
Raise the Bar: You’ll help us push the quality of our work even higher, finding smarter ways of working and keeping up with design trends.

• You’ve been doing this for 8–10 years, with solid experience running projects and mentoring others.
• You hold excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• You’re confident in presenting to clients, running workshops, and telling a great story around your work.
• You’ve worked across web, mobile, and multi-platform projects, and know how to design for both responsive and adaptive interfaces.
• You’re comfortable working on complex, large-scale projects, ideally with some exposure to banking or financial services.
• You’re great with service design thinking — blueprints, journey maps, you name it.
• You’re used to working in Agile teams — daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning… you’re in your element.
• You’re a natural team player who can juggle multiple projects without losing your cool.
• You care about the “why” behind everything, and you’re not afraid to ask questions and challenge assumptions.
• You’re comfortable working with tight deadlines across multiple projects and clients while keeping your A-game.
• You’re eager to learn from the whole team. No matter the seniority, everyone has something to learn and something to teach others.
• Working knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban is a must — along with participation in their key ceremonies.
• You have excellent time management skills.
• You’ve got a strong portfolio that shows off your thinking, process, and final product. Please include a link to your portfolio with the application.
• You have a working knowledge of front-end basics — you don’t have to be an expert, but you should understand how they impact the overall project and be able to adapt your approach accordingly.

• This role is based in Dubai, with occasional travel within the UAE and GCC (for workshops, kick-offs, and client collabs).
