UI Designer
(AE 24/003)

We’re seeking a UI Designer with a strong grasp of the full design thinking process, who can focus on crafting elegant, pixel-perfect interfaces across mobile and web platforms. You’ll be embedded within the bank’s in-house design team, contributing directly to the evolution of their design system and working on various applications, from retail banking to business platforms.

• Master the design thinking toolbox: While your focus will be on UI, you’ll be expected to understand and contribute to the entire design process, from ideation to implementation.
• Work with design systems: Develop, maintain, and refine extensive design systems that will be applied across mobile and web applications.
• Design user interfaces: Create intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional interfaces for both retail and business banking platforms.
• Collaborate effectively: Work closely with UX designers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless user experiences and consistent visual design.
• Prototyping and testing: Bring your ideas to life with high-fidelity prototypes and collaborate in user testing to validate design decisions.
• Ensure scalability: Adapt and extend design systems, ensuring scalability across different digital platforms and products.
• Drive research and benchmarking: Regularly assess local and global competitors to ensure your designs knockout the competition.

• Experience: At least 5 years of UI design experience in the Middle East, ideally in the financial or enterprise sectors, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in designing for both mobile and web applications.
• Design System Expertise: Extensive experience in building and maintaining design systems across multiple platforms and understanding of their scalability.
• Full Design Thinking Knowledge: While your focus will be UI, you have a strong understanding of the entire design thinking process and methodologies.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and/or Arabic, to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Your designs are pixel-perfect, aesthetically stunning, and functional, always with the user’s needs in mind.
• Collaboration & Adaptability: You can easily work with cross-functional teams, manage feedback from various stakeholders, and juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat.
• Technical Know-How: Knowledge of front-end technologies and how your designs will translate into code is a plus.

• This role is based remotely in our clients offices in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
