About the Role

 We’re looking for two dynamic UX Researchers who will dive deep into the world of banking clients in Saudi Arabia. Your mission (should you choose to accept it)  involves understanding the needs, desires, and pain points of diverse segments of banking customers, from first-time account holders to seasoned investors.


What you do

  • Engage with diverse segments of banking clients to map out their experiences, aspirations, and frustrations.
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand how current banking products and services measure up in meeting client needs—and with what satisfaction.
  • Regularly benchmark our client’s offerings against both local and global competitors to keep our finger on the pulse of the market.
  • Deliver weekly reports that highlight key findings, pain points, opportunities, and shifts in customer sentiment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to translate research insights into actionable strategies.
  • Help shape the current and future financial and digital product offering of the region’s largest bank.
  • Be able to use/adjust and apply any tools from the design thinking toolbox to put across your insights, findings and recommendations.
  • Present solutions and ideas to problems identified.

Who you are

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of UX research experience (ideally but not mandatory) in the Middle East, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and/or Arabic—because we believe communication is key.
  • Expertise: A strong grasp of research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, and the ability to adapt them to the context at hand.
  • Analytical Prowess: You can turn data into stories and insights that inform and inspire.
  • Prioritization Skills: You’re a master juggler when it comes to managing tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables—without dropping the ball.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: A deep understanding of the Middle Eastern market and cultural nuances, with the ability to translate this into research strategies.

Travel

  • Travel Ready: Willingness to travel to and be based in Saudi Arabia (for the duration of the project)
