Senior Business Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and inquisitive Business Analyst with a strong sense of ownership and deep experience in mobile banking and regulated financial services. In this client-facing role based in Riyadh, you will act as a vital bridge between stakeholders, including the Digital Design Office, Product, and Engineering teams, driving clarity, structure, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle to deliver meaningful digital banking experiences.
You will bring expertise in SAMA’s Consumer Protection Framework (CPF) regulations, translating compliance requirements into actionable product and design decisions without compromising user experience. A technology background with an understanding of UX/UI principles is strongly preferred, enabling you to work fluidly across engineering, design, and business domains.
What you do
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, compliance teams, and delivery squads, ensuring SAMA CPF regulatory requirements are accurately captured and reflected in product features.
- Gather and evaluate business and functional requirements for mobile banking products through techniques such as:
- Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs)
- User Stories & Use Cases
- Workflow Analysis
- Process Mapping
- Document requirements into BRDs, User Stories, and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), with clear mapping to CPF compliance obligations.
- Translate SAMA CPF regulatory requirements and business objectives into clear technical and design specifications, validating feasibility with tech leads and UX/UI designers.
- Facilitate gap analysis and impact assessments against CPF guidelines, identifying compliance risks early in the delivery cycle.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to validate that mobile banking designs meet both business intent and SAMA’s consumer protection usability standards.
- Work in Agile squads to refine backlogs, define acceptance criteria inclusive of compliance requirements, and ensure readiness for sprints.
- Support UAT planning and test case design, ensuring end-to-end test coverage across both functional and regulatory scenarios.
- Conduct post-release reviews to capture learnings, validate CPF compliance in production, and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with SAMA regulatory updates, proactively identifying implications for existing and upcoming product features.
Who you are
- 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital product or enterprise application environments, with a significant focus on mobile banking or fintech.
- Demonstrable experience working with SAMA’s Consumer Protection Framework (CPF) regulations and translating them into product and design requirements.
- Hands-on experience with mobile banking applications, understanding the unique UX, compliance, and technical constraints of digital finance on iOS and Android.
- A technology background is essential; experience in software development, systems analysis, or front-end awareness is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, understanding wireframes, user flows, and design systems.
- Strong command of Agile and Scrum practices within regulated delivery environments.

- Outstanding documentation and presentation skills using MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong storytelling ability, can clearly articulate the ‘why’ behind decisions, trade-offs, and compliance considerations.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic language proficiency is a strong plus for effective collaboration with local Saudi stakeholders.
- Self-driven with strong time management, accountability, and a collaborative mindset suited to fast-paced, client-facing environments.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A technology-oriented academic background is preferred.

1-year contract. Immediate start required.
