Design and Tech Delivery Manager

As a Design and Tech Delivery Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital design and technology projects, ensuring seamless execution from concept to deployment. You will be working with a highly motivated, strong team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and high performance—and we need someone who can match that energy. You will collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standards.

This role requires a strategic thinker and problem-solver who can align remote teams, manage multiple vendors, and bring clarity to complex digital initiatives. Your ability to balance design excellence, technical feasibility, and business objectives will be critical to success.


What you do

Project & Delivery Management

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital design and technology projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, sprint plans, and status reports.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Ensure projects stay within budget and align with business goals.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Maintain an updated requirements traceability matrix and backlog.
  • Establish a project governance structure within the client’s ecosystem.
  • Provide transparency on:
    • Overall project health and progress
    • Milestone and deliverable statuses
    • Project risks and mitigation plans
    • Resource capacity, competency, and availability
  • Attend meetings with C-level stakeholders to provide updates and drive decision-making.

Day-to-Day Execution

  • Interface with clients to understand functional and non-functional requirements and define key success factors.
  • Work with design teams to translate and validate technical requirements.
  • Align remote teams and multiple vendors, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
  • Problem-solve with clients and teams to remove blockers and maintain momentum.
  • Ensure final deliverables meet quality, accessibility, and brand standards.
  • Continuously improve design and development workflows for efficiency and scalability.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and technical excellence.
  • Conduct post-mortems to refine future delivery processes.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, QA testers, and content strategists.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Ensure teams follow best practices in design, development, and deployment.

Who you are

  • 7+ years of experience in digital project management, design operations, or technology delivery.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Financial services experience is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience working across multiple products (both internal and external).
  • Expertise in web and mobile technologies (e.g., CMS platforms, APIs, front-end frameworks).
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of design and development product life cycles.
  • Excellent client management skills, balancing scope, brand objectives, and user goals.
  • Ability to tell a compelling story and present ideas with clarity and confidence.
  • A sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability for your work and team.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve project bottlenecks.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects under tight deadlines while keeping your A-game.
  • Natural curiosity to understand the “why”—you ask the right questions, form strong points of view, and defend them with confidence.
  • Excellent time management and collaboration skills.

Travel

  • This role is based in Dubai, with travel required for client meetings in Abu Dhabi and KSA.
